The hosts will take you on guided hikes in Jotunheimen as you ascend well-known peaks like Knutshøe and Besseggen in Jotunheimen National Park. This is the perfect retreat for those who love mountain trekking but prefer not to venture out alone.
You will explore a mountainous region of Jotunheimen, known for its high peaks, rugged terrain, and alpine landscapes. Numerous lakes and rivers dot this area, adding to the scenic charm. The water reflecting the surrounding mountains, create stunning reflections on clear days.
Your hosts, Øyvind and Tor Erik, have crafted a rich itinerary that spans from summiting peaks in Jotunheimen to visits to summer farms. Grønolen is renowned for its hospitality and homemade meals. Arriving on Sunday and departing on Friday provides ample time to unwind and take in the beautiful scenery and cozy atmosphere.
A stay here is equally well-suited for solo travelers seeking tranquility or companions embarking on the journey together. It is suitable for people with a normal good level of fitness. You should be accustomed to walking in the mountains.
