Begin your cross-country ski tour at Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane, perfectly located at the gateway to Rondane National Park. This is the ideal place to get familiar with your ski equipment and local snow conditions. The scenic Venabygdsfjellet area offers excellent skiing options, both on well-groomed trails and off-piste.
The ski route stretches from the open mountain landscapes in the north to the historic Olympic city of Lillehammer in the south. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Rondane mountain range, creating a breathtaking backdrop for your journey.
This classic ski tour takes you through Øksendalen Valley, past traditional mountain farms on Øyerfjellet, and continues via Nordseter and Sjusjøen before arriving in Lillehammer. You’ll experience a mix of open highland terrain and peaceful woodland trails.
Most of the route follows well-maintained cross-country ski tracks, though occasional sections may be less groomed. This adventure is best suited for experienced skiers, and we recommend sturdy touring skis or standard cross-country skis for optimal performance.
