A Cycling Adventure through some of Norway's finest Mountain Sceneries, starting in Gudbrandsdalen, north of Lillehammer and taking you through the wide and beautiful mountain landscapes of Jotunheimen, Valdres, and Gol.
Mjølkevegen is a well-marked cycling route designed for adventure enthusiasts. While the journey includes some challenging climbs as you cross various mountain ranges, you are on a self-guided tour, giving you the privilege to set your own pace. Leave the heavy lifting to us - your main luggage is transported between mountain lodges, allowing you to fully enjoy the ride with a light day pack.
One of the highlights of this tour is a scenic boat trip from Bygdin to Eidsbugarden. Take a well-deserved break, relax, and soak in the stunning views of Valdres and Eastern Jotunheimen.
After the boat ride, continue cycling along the serene shores of Lake Tyin. Spend a restful night at Filefjell before heading downhill to Lake Vangsmjøsa, followed by a demanding climb to the picturesque Stølsvidda plateau.
Along the way, you’ll pass through some of Norway's largest and most active summer farm areas, where you might encounter goats, cows, calves, and sheep grazing peacefully by the roadside.
