On this winter adventure, you will experience nature and winter at its finest. Go cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on your own and maybe spot a moose. If you are not so familiar with cross-country skiing, you can take part in a beginner's course before you enter the well-prepared trails or make your own tracks through the untouched snow.
You will spend your nights in cosy wilderness cabins and enjoy delicious meals in unique places - in our Gamme and perhaps an outdoor barbeque. Experience the silence and the beautiful stars of the winter sky. Even the northern lights can surprise us on a clear night.
Enjoy a special time with your family behind a sledge, with dogs eager to give you an experience you will not forget.
Winter adventure in Sjodalen with Discover Norway
Sjodalen has an exceptionally rich wildlife. Moose and reindeer are the most common, but we also have foxes and hares, otters and weasels, and even an occasional wolf.
The moose is an especially common sight during the winter, as they are wandering up the valley for the winter pastures.
